Abstract Conglomerate reservoirs are controlled by the interaction of multi-scale sedimentary architectures and diagenetic processes, resulting in highly heterogeneous and spatially discontinuous reservoir properties and geomechanical characteristics. This complexity significantly increases the difficulty of identifying dominant controlling factors and classifying reservoir quality.
