Bibek Bhandari’s Biography
Bibek is currently a Nepal-based independent journalist. He has written for the South China Morning Post, CNN, Al Jazeera, Huffington Post, Sixth Tone, The National and The Week in Nepal, among others.
He started his reporting stint as a student reporter for the TCU Daily Skiff, and blogged for the New York-based South Asian Journalists Association. He also interned at Rolling Stone India in Mumbai.
Bibek has a postgraduate degree in journalism from University of Westminster in London and an undergraduate degree in international communication (news-editorial) from TCU. He also attended University of Oslo for a human rights program and Moscow State University as a journalism exchange student.
