Hal Newman is the founder and curator of The Last Ambulance/La Dernière Ambulance. It is a collaborative public service journalism project focused on the crisis in emergency prehospital care (EMS) systems. Newman is a senior subject matter expert on EMS, firefighting, emergency management. Newman has a BA in Communications from Bethany College in West Virginia.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes. I have used a typewriter. In fact, I filed many a story using a typewriter. I keep one in my office as a reminder of my roots.
