BJP Leads In Key Bihar Election After Round 1
Patna: The opposition BJP established an initial lead in the by-election to the Kurhani assembly constituency in Muzaffarpur district in Bihar today, a CEO official said. BJP candidate Kedar Gupta secured 4,194 votes while the JD(U)'s Manoj Singh Kushwaha bagged 2,195 votes after the first round of counting. Altogether 13 candidates, five of them Independents, are in the fray though the contest is being seen, primarily, as between Gupta and Kushwaha.

बिहार में कुढ़नी उपचुनाव को लेकर सियासी सरगर्मिया तेज है. बीजेपी और महागठबंधन ने अपने उम्मीदवारों के नामों का ऐलान कर दिया है. इधर विकासशील इंसान पार्टी के नेता मुकेश सहनी ने प्रत्याशी उतारने का ऐलान कर दिया है. खबर है कि मुकेश सहनी नीलाभ कुमार को कुढ़नी से प्रत्याशी बना सकती है. नीलाभ कुमार को उतारा जा सकता है. वे कुढ़नी के पूर्व विधायक साधु शरण शाही के पोते हैं. शाही चार बार के विधायक रहे थे और कुढ़नी से वर्ष 1990 में भूमिहार जाति से जीतने वाले आखिरी विधायक रहे.

RJD विधायक अनिल सहनी की विधायकी रद्द कर दिए जाने के बाद बिहार के मुजफ्फरपुर के कुढ़नी विधानसभा में उपचुनाव कराया जाएगा. निर्वाचन आयोग ने कुढ़नी विधानसभा सीट पर होने वाले चुनाव की तारीख का ऐलान कर दिया है. इस सीट पर चुनाव के लिए अधिसूचना 10 नवंबर को जारी होगी. 5 दिसंबर को मतदान होगा जबकि मतों की गिनती 8 दिसंबर को होगी. यहां 17 नवंबर तक नामांकन किया जा सकेगा. नामांकन पत्रों की जांच 18 नवंबर को किया जाएगा इसके बाद 21 नवंबर तक नामांकन वापस लिया जा सकेगा. पांच नवंबर को वोटिंग कराई जाएगी.

बिहार के सीएम नीतीश कुमार उपचुनाव में प्रचार करने नहीं जाएंगे. मंगलवार को चुनाव प्रचार का अंतिम दिन है. इससे पहले नीतीश कुमार ने वीडियो जारी कर मोकामा से आरजेडी प्रत्याशी अनंत सिंह की पत्नी नीलम देवी के लिए वोट मांगा है. उन्होंने खराब स्वास्थ्य का हवाला दिया है और मोकामा नहीं जाने के फैसले को लेकर जानकारी दी है. नीतीश कुमार ने वीडियो में नीलम देवी के लिए वोट देने की अपील मोकामा की जनता से की है.नीतीश कुमार के इस वीडियो को जेडीयू के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष ललन सिंह ने ट्वीट किया है.

भले ही नीतीश कुमार और तेजस्वी यादव महागठबंधन में सब ठीक होने का दावा कर रहे हैं. लेकिन सबकुछ उतना साफ नहीं है जितना दिख रहा है. दरअसल बिहार में हो रहे उपचुनाव में जहां बीजेपी ने प्रचार में पूरी ताकत झोंक दी है वहीं महागठबंधन की तरफ से दोनों बड़े नेता अब तक दोनों विधानसभा क्षेत्र में प्रचार करने नहीं पहुंचे हैं. अब खबर यह आ रही हैं कि बिहार के पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री और HAM संरक्षक जीतनराम मांझी भी अब प्रचार नहीं करने जाएंगे. मांझी की पार्टी ने इसके लिए स्वास्थ्य कारणों का हवाला दिया है.

लोक जनशक्ति पार्टी (R) प्रमुख चिराग पासवान बिहार विधानसभा के दो सीटों पर होनेवाले उपचुनाव में BJP का समर्थन करने ऐलान कर दिया है. चिराग पासवान रविवार को ही दिल्ली से पटना पहुंचे और कहा कि वह विधानसभा उपचुनाव में बीजेपी उम्मीदवार के लिए प्रचार करेंगे. चिराग पासवान मोकामा और गोपालगंज दोनों जगह पर प्रचार के लिए जाने वाले हैं. चिराग के बीजेपी को समर्थन करने की बात बीजेपी की तरफ से प्रदेश अध्यक्ष संजय जायसवाल ने 3 दिन पहले कर दिया था.
