2 Rushed To Trauma Center In Bassett After Being Slashed By Box Cutter

BASSETT (CBSLA.com)  — Two people were rushed to a trauma center in Bassett Thursday evening after being attacked by a suspect wielding a box cutter. The incident happened at San Angelo Park near San Angelo Avenue and Proctor Street, authorities said. The victims were described as two males, one 15 and the other 31. It was unclear if the victims knew each other or the suspect. The injuries to the victims are not considered life-threatening.

Boat Pulling People In Water Toys Comes Dangerously Close To Sharks

DANA POINT (CBSLA.com) — Doheny State Beach lifeguards posted new warnings after another shark, possibly a great white, was spotted Thursday just feet from a paddle boarder. But is was a sighting on Sunday night caught on drone footage that was more worrisome. Barry Curtis was flying his drone and it videotaped two Great White sharks over six feet long near a boat towing people in inflatable water toys. “I spotted one then I spotted two,” Curtis said.
