CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Humberto formed this evening in the Atlantic. This system is forecast to remain to our east and will interact with another disturbance that could develop into Imelda. Both systems could interact with each other and the exact track is still uncertain. We will continue to monitor. A lot of uncertainty lies with whether Imelda forms and if so, how they may interact and where they go. It is very rare to see two very strong storms in close proximity to each other in the tropics.
