1 Introduction Amphibians serve in many critical capacities within our ecosystems, and yet they face startling imperilment, extreme even for our current era of mass extinction. The global decline in amphibians is unprecedented among other taxa throughout human history (Stuart et al. 2004), and assessing the confluence of threats facing amphibians severely complicates conservation action planning.
