Resident-side health information for identifying community noise risks in digital public health governance
Abstract Introduction: Digital public health governance needs to identify community-level health risks beyond data generated after residents enter medical-service settings. In this study, resident-side health information refers to resident-reported information on residential noise perception, sleep disturbance, and health behavior that can supplement medical-service data.
Structural Basis of Amyloid Fibril Assembly by Plant Seed Storage Proteins
Abstract Amyloid fibrils are highly ordered protein assemblies characterized by a cross-β architecture. A wide range of proteins can adopt amyloid states, contributing to both disease-related pathology and normal physiological function. While animal-derived amyloids have been extensively examined in atomic detail, amyloid fibrils formed by plant proteins remain relatively understudied.

Ultrastructural and atomic characterization of biofilm-associated extracellular filaments in Shewanella oneidensis MR-1
Abstract Biofilms formed by Shewanella oneidensis MR-1 are crucial for metal reduction, underpinning bioremediation and bioenergy applications, yet detailed structural insights into biofilm components remain limited. Here we show that MR-1 biofilms contain abundant filamentous networks, membrane vesicles, and distinct square-shaped aggregates, as revealed by cryo-electron tomography and cryo-electron microscopy.
ECM remodeling features in reparative chondrocytes during knee osteoarthritis
Abstract Background: Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is characterized by progressive cartilage degeneration and disruption of extracellular matrix (ECM) homeostasis. Chondrocytes are not a homogeneous or static population during disease progression but exhibit pronounced functional heterogeneity.

Integration of single-cell sequencing and machine learning identifies key macrophage-associated genetic signatures in lumbar disc degeneration
1 Introduction Lumbar disc degeneration (LDD) is one of the leading causes of chronic low back pain. Its prevalence rises substantially with age, severely compromising patients’ quality of life and representing a significant global public health concern. Epidemiological data indicate that approximately 80% of individuals experience some degree of low back pain during their lifetime, with LDD accounting for the majority of these cases (1).

Lattice strain of 1,3,5-triamino-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene-based polymer-bonded explosives during the pressing process by neutron diffraction
ABSTRACT Pressed 1,3,5-triamino-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene (TATB)-based polymer-bonded explosives (PBXs) will undergo cracking under low-stress conditions, which are closely related to the TATB lattice strain. Studying the behavior of TATB lattice strain during the pressing process of TATB-based PBX is considered of great significance for revealing the causes and mechanisms of residual stress.
Supplier Encroachment Strategies on a Retail Platform With Strategic Consumers
1 Introduction Retail platforms are reshaping the online retail industry, with global online retail sales increasing from 1.3 to 5.2 trillion U.S. dollars between 2014 and 2021, a nearly five-fold increment according to Statista1. To expand their market size and gain pricing power, an increasing number of suppliers are encroaching into the downside market. In the past, suppliers usually encroached by establishing direct sales channels, such as their own retail stores or online shopping websites.

High activity nitrogen-doped hollow carbon/silicon hollow spheres as encapsulated Pd-Fe nanoreactors for acetylene dialkoxycarbonylation
High activity nitrogen-doped hollow carbon/silicon hollow spheres as encapsulated Pd-Fe nanoreactors for acetylene dialkoxycarbonylation Reducing the utilization of precious metals and minimizing their depletion has been a pivotal concern in precious metal catalyst research. Hence, we employed a wet impregnation method to fabricate hollow carbon and silicon nanospheres (PdFe/NxC@mSiO2), encapsulating PdFe bimetallic nanoparticles.
Selection of Peptide-Bismuth Bicycles Using Phage Display
Cysteine conjugation is widely used to constrain phage displayed peptides for the selection of cyclic peptides against specific targets. In this study, the nontoxic Bi3+ ion was used as a cysteine conjugation reagent to cross-link peptide libraries without compromising phage infectivity. We constructed a randomized 3-cysteine peptide library and cyclized it with Bi3+, followed by a selection against the maltose-binding protein as a model target.

Finite-Time Control for Dual Three-Phase Hybrid Excitation Synchronous Machine Based on Torque Sensorless Current Coordinative Strategy
1. Introduction Considering energy reduction and environmental protection, electric vehicles driven by a permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) have been developed with rapid speed [1,2]. To guarantee robust performance in facing the changing conditions of electric vehicles, such as starting, climbing, heavy loading, high-speed overtaking and cruising, the hybrid excitation synchronous machine (HESM) has received much research attention from both mechtronic and control communities [3].
A Comparison of Interpolyelectrolyte Complexes (IPECs) Made from Anionic Block Copolymer Micelles and PDADMAC or q-Chitosan as Polycation
3.3. Static Light Scattering (SLS) In order to confirm the structural information obtained by turbidity regarding the size of the IPEC aggregates formed upon admixing either PDADMAC or q-chitosan to the anionic copolymer micelles, we performed comprehensive light scattering experiments in which the mixing ratio z = [+]/[−] was increased systematically up to a value of z = 0.4. At this value, all samples were visually homogeneous, whereas higher values (higher than z = 0.4) of precipitation or...

Deactivation and Regeneration of Nitrogen Doped Carbon Catalyst for Acetylene Hydrochlorination
Abstract : The poor stability of carbon materials doped with nitrogen limited their development in acetylene hydrochlorination. Therefore, investigating the deactivation reasons of carbon catalysts and researching regeneration methods became the research focus. Herein, carbon-nitrogen materials were synthesized by one-step pyrolysis, which using biomass materials with high nitrogen content, the synthesized material was used in an acetylene hydrochlorination reaction.
