Reinvigorating COTL1 high NK cells via GITR signalling overcomes immune checkpoint blockade resistance in tsMHC-I-impaired tumours
Abstract Patients with impaired tumour-specific major histocompatibility complex class I (tsMHC-Iimpaired) often fail to respond to immune checkpoint blockade (ICB), presenting a major clinical challenge. However, through our multicentre investigation, we observed that a subset of patients with tsMHC-Iimpaired remains responsive to ICB, a phenomenon that has not been fully explained. Here we identify a COTL1high natural killer (NK) subset that mediates ICB responsiveness in these patients.

Research progress on the impact and mechanisms of helicobacter pylori infection on the efficacy of immunotherapy for gastric cancer
1 Introduction Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is the most important pathogen that colonizes the gastric mucosal epithelial cells. It has been classified as a Group I carcinogen by the World Health Organization (WHO), affecting more than 50% of the global population (1). H. pylori infection is the primary cause of chronic gastritis and peptic ulcers, and it is a key risk factor for the development of gastric cancer (GC). It is estimated that 74.5% of GC cases in China can be attributed to H.

Recent progress on atomic-scale modulation of single-atom-based catalysts for electrocatalytic CO2 reduction
The industrial revolution has brought great improvement and convenience to human life, represented by the extensive use of fuels. However, exploiting energy sources unduly has exerted great pressure on human beings, including energy depletion and excessive CO2 emission causing greenhouse effect [1], [2]. Thus, making use of the abundant CO2 to obtain fine chemicals with extra value and exploring new energy types are of vital importance [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8].
Insights into hydrangea-like NiCo2S4 activating peroxymonosulfate for efficient degradation of atrazine
Atrazine (ATZ), a typical persistent organic pollutant (POP), has been widely applied for killing broadleaf weeds in the fields of corn, sorghum, and sugarcane, etc. [1]. Due to the heavy use, moderate aqueous solubility (0.15 mM), long-distance migration, non-biodegradable and persistent property, ATZ residues are inevitable to be accumulated and frequently detected in surface/ground waters [2].
3D Highly Stretchable Liquid Metal/Elastomer Composites with Strain‐Enhanced Conductivity
1 Introduction The rise of wearable electronics and their applications in biomedical devices and soft robotics have promoted significant interests in the development of stretchable and durable conductors.[1] Traditional electronic devices predominantly utilize rigid materials, while biological tissues exhibit softness, high stretchability, and resilience.[2] To enhance softness and stretchability, current conductors utilize low-dimensional rigid materials with wavy configurations, such as...
A Review for the Euler Number Computing Problem
1. Introduction A digital binary image is formed by combining the planar connected areas that depict the projections of the objects present with the real-world scene being captured. Moreover, it can be considered a two-dimensional array with two possible results, i.e., 0 or 1. A connected region in a binary image is also called a connected component. It refers to the connected region composed of adjacent pixels with the same pixel value (usually object pixel) in a binary image.

4.1.1 Viral Vectors Viral vectors are among the most widely studied vectors due to their wide host range and high transfection efficiency. However, their wide use is currently hindered due to their limited packaging capacity and complex preparation.[36] After decades of development, viral vectors – retroviral, adenoviral, and lentiviral vectors – have shown promising results in clinical trials.[37] Retroviral vectors were designed based on the characteristics of retroviruses.

Er:YAG laser combined with botulinum toxin A for patients with local syringomas: A preliminary report
ORIGINAL ARTICLE Bin Yao and Wenjun Chen contributed equally to this article. Abstract Syringoma is a common but refractory benign skin tumor. Conventional treatment, such as ultra-pulsed carbon dioxide (CO2) laser or cryotherapy, often requires multiple treatment and can easily cause prolonged erythema, scarring, or depression, which are frustrating, so there is an urgent need to seek a safer and more effective method.
Experimental and Numerical Study on Axial Compression Cold-Formed Steel Composite Wall under Concentrated Loads
Abstract : This paper presents the experimental and numerical studies in the investigation of the concentrated compressive behaviors of cold-formed steel-foam concrete composite wall. The failure modes, load–displacement curves, and load–strain curves of the specimens were obtained from the experiments. The infilled specimen failed due to distortional buckling of the end stud and cracking of the concrete near the corner of the wall.

Efficient Strategies for Computing Euler Number of a 3D Binary Image
Abstract : As an important topological property for a 3D binary image, the Euler number can be computed by finding specific a voxel block with 2 × 2 × 2 voxels, named the voxel pattern, in the image. In this paper, we introduce three strategies for enhancing the efficiency of a voxel-pattern-based Euler number computing algorithm used for 3D binary images. The first strategy is taking advantage of the voxel information acquired during computation to avoid accessing voxels repeatedly.

Analysis of factors affecting measurement accuracy and establishment of an optimal measurement strategy of a laser displacement sensor
Abstract Laser triangulation method is widely used in online precision measurement owing to its advantages of being fast, accurate, and dynamic, and having large-scale measurement capability. To improve the accuracy of laser triangulation, the scan depth, inclination angle, rotation angle, and deflection angle are defined. Then, a spatial pose error model and an experimental model for laser measurement error are established.
