Den siste Bjørn West-soldat har gått av vakt

Det var med sorg me tok i mot meldinga om at Sverre Nikolai Sivertsen døde 15. juni i Bergen. Sverre vart 101 år. Med det er den siste Bjørn West-soldat gått av vakt. Sverre slutta seg til Bjørn West-styrken som soldat nr 154 – våren 1945. Han hadde framfor seg ei tid med hard trening, tunge bører, lange vakter, angrep frå tyske styrker og tap av kameratar i barske Masfjord-fjell. For oss som berre har opplevd fred og fridom er det vanskeleg å førestilla seg korleis dette påverkar ein.
