1. Introduction Andrographolide is a natural bioactive compound that is found in the leaves and stems of the Andrographis paniculata plant, commonly known as the “king of bitters” due to its extremely bitter taste. For centuries, it has been widely used in traditional medicine for its potential therapeutic properties to treat various ailments, e.g., fever, infections, digestive disorders, and respiratory infections [1,2,3].
