Village board honors Trey Young, ‘Free Hugs Guy’

Something you don’t normally see at the Village of Williamsville Board meetings are hugs – but there were many exchanged on Monday night when a proclamation was given to Trey Young, aka “The Free Hugs” guy, who can be seen throughout the village. Young’s family and friends filled the room. Prior to the proclamation being read, Mayor Christine Hunt turned the floor over to local artist Lindsay Palmisano, who then dedicated a portrait painting she created of Young.
