carbon disc road wheels - which would you choose, and why?

My original wish list was 700c disc road wheelset hooked rims for use with conventional clinchers and tubes but also tubeless-ready, just in case I decide to go down that rabbithole in the future must accomodate between 25 and 32 tires rim depth of <40mm total weight (both wheels) <1400g, and preferably under <1200g ideally with DT Swiss hubs, but that's not a dealbreaker preferably with a lifetime warranty I'm having a new...
Cannondale-by-FSA "System Integration" headset/top cap/star nut on 2006 Synapse -- no spacers above stem?!?!
I have owned a Cannondale Synapse Carbon 2 bike since 2006...the first year the Synapse model was widely available. It still works, and I still ride it regularly, even though I have since acquired two very lovely -- and very much better fitting -- custom bikes. In trying to get my old Synapse to more closely match the fit of my custom bikes, I would need to lower the stem. Ordinarily I would just take a spacer or two out from under the stem and put them above the stem, under the top cap.

Can we afford shared use paths?
Pinecrest’s draft 2025-26 budget calls for spending $4 million to build an eight-foot-wide shared use path (SUP) on the west side of Ludlam Rd. It would become the second phase (after Kendall Drive) of a plan to introduce 11.2 miles of such paths to our community. Mayor Corradino has spoken in village council meetings about adding curbs to the road as part of the Ludlam project, increasing width. The draft budget also includes $800,000 for the design of SUPs on SW 62 Ave.

road route recommendations in San Diego CA?

Any suggestions for Must Do routes in the area? Anything from ~30-70 miles distance, 0-100' elevation gain per mile (...although, since it's supposed to be a vacation, maybe more towards the 0'/mile end of the scale than the 100'/mile). Thanks.

Internal brake cable routing and "hidden" fender mounts. Steerer length is approximately 29.5cm $225 For Sale: a brand new (well, perhaps NOS if the date sticker is correct, but just aquired directly from Cannondale in September 2021) never used, never installed carbon fork for a CAADX.

Several weeks ago, I participated in a tour of the northern (winter) range of Yellowstone National Park with a group of range ecologists and plant scientists from across western Montana. YNP officials say, "The more thermal hot springs and wildlife visitors see in Yellowstone National Park, the more successful their trip." But there is a limit to the number of grazing animals that can be safely carried on a year-long grazing basis.

total weight of a Synapse?
#1 · Plenty of places on the Cannondale website where they proudly tout the frame weight or frame+fork weight, but I only found one vague reference (a quote from a magazine review) that gives any idea of what the total weight of a fully built-up Synapse bike is. 15.2 lbs? Does that sound right? Anyone have one who can verify the weight of a Synapse 1 or 2 w/ compact crank? Thanks.
