Bloomington man arrested on new child exploitation charges while earlier case pending

A Bloomington man faces new child solicitation and exploitation charges while out on bond for a similar 2024 case. Investigators allege the man used chat apps to solicit minors for "modeling" and possessed illicit images and videos. The new investigation began after a complaint from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. MCCSC consolidates early childhood programs amid teacher shortage

June 4, 2026, 5:05 a.m. ET Monroe County Community School Corp. will close its early childhood site at Bloomington High School North and consolidate programs at its south facility, a move officials say will allow them to serve more children amid high demand and a persistent shortage of qualified early learning teachers. Officials say the shift will let them enroll seven more children and fully staff each classroom at the south side location, 401 E.

Despite numerous searches, including at a landfill, no clues about her disappearance have been found. Authorities continue to ask the public for any information regarding the case, no matter how small it may seem.
