The first of which may come littered with expletives as you dodge hot tub-sized potholes on the winding, wild drive, searching for an olive-brown gate that seems to have been swallowed by tropical vegetation. Where the hell is this place? Just as I’m about to give up—phones are no help here—I pull onto an unassuming dirt path and spot a long rope attached to a bell. Ringing it alerts a small herd of goats (along with staff).
