The national debate around Flock cameras, the increasingly ubiquitous technology that records the license plate information of passing cars, has many Midlands drivers asking the question: where is my car being seen as I go around town? As with most other things these days, the answer is online. The website DeFlock has created a crowd-sourced map of cameras all over the country, showing where cameras have been placed at the street level and what agencies are using them.

A 24-year-old man was killed Monday in South Carolina, and one shooting suspect has been located while a search continues for another wanted person, according to the Sumter Police Department. At about 11:45 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting on East Charlotte Avenue, in the Anne Park community, police said in a news release. Officers found the 24-year-old victim injured in the road, according to the release. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he died, police said.

CHICAGO, Aug 25 (Reuters) - United Airlines said on Tuesday it expects enough Airbus A321XLR deliveries to support its European expansion next summer, as the carrier pushes into smaller markets and sees travel to the region staying strong into the autumn months. The Chicago-based airline plans to use the long-range, single-aisle jet on five new European routes in 2027, including Luxembourg, Ibiza, Spain, and Toulouse, France.

MOSCOW, Aug 25 (Reuters) - At least 19 people were being treated in hospital and more than a hundred more suffered injuries after a fire broke out on Tuesday at a gas chemical complex under construction in Russia's Far East, killing one Chinese national. "Despite prompt medical attention, one of the victims - a Chinese national employed by a contractor - could not be saved. His family will receive support, including financial assistance," the facility in the Amur region said in a statement.
