Welcome to another episode of the independent BradCast, as heard on dozens of independent affiliate stations over what remains of our still-public airwaves. [Audio to full show follows this summary.] We begin with a few reminders: It’s statewide primary Election Day today in Tennessee. On Saturday, it’s primary day in Hawaii. And next Tuesday, there are statewide primaries in Connecticut, Minnesota, Vermont, Wisconsin and even South Carolina. Didn’t SC already hold their primaries?

Today on The BradCast: We knew it would be an unpredictable primary election night in five states yesterday. But who could have predicted how unpredictable this one would be? [Audio to full show follows this summary.] As you know by now, Primaries were held for November’s critical Midterms in five states — Missouri, Kansas, Virginia, Washington, and in the great battleground state of Michigan — on Tuesday.

It’s all sort of being reported as just another wacky political kerfuffle on Capitol Hill. In fact, as detailed on today’s BradCast, what we are all witnessing this week is Republican Congressional approval of what is certainly the largest and most audacious heist of taxpayer money for the personal use of a sitting President in U.S. history.
