Learn more It’s been a long time coming, but nearly a decade after its introduction, the Tudor Black Bay Chrono is getting a smaller, streamlined case. Following in the footsteps of its older brother, the Black Bay Fifty-Eight diver, Tudor’s bicompax chronograph is now available in a 39mm case. On top of that, it cuts a slimmer profile and makes one hell of an entrance with the new “Bumblebee” color scheme.

Regardless of how Tudor ended up producing the Black Bay Chrono 39, it is a welcome and unmissable sight. The “Bumblebee” dial fits right in with the pink and “Flamingo Blue” dials added to the chronograph collection over the past couple of years. However, the new proportions are sure to be the real headline for Tudor fans. I’m sure more traditional color schemes, like the panda and reverse panda used for the 41mm Black Bay Chrono, will come along soon enough.
