Winds could range from 30-40 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph. Which could lead to some patchy blowing dust. The peak gusts are expected to arrive between 11 AM and 4 PM Tuesday. We will see an increase in cloud cover as well, but will remain dry.

The KFOX14 Severe Weather Team is tracking a storm system and disturbance to our west southwest that will slowly push northeast, toward the Borderland. It will bring more active weather with it, including chances for showers mid morning Friday, through Friday night. Watch for potential rain slickened roadways and make sure to slow down while driving.

El Paso residents embrace sudden drop in temperatures (Credit: KFOX14/CBS4) The KFOX14 Severe Weather Team has issued a Weather Warn Saturday and Sunday for colder air returning to the Borderland. An Arctic front that will push into Texas, will also take our temperatures down some here in the Borderland. This could leave us with highs stuck in the 40s, especially Sunday. At the same time we will be watching a storm system moving in from the west.
