Drawn to the arts from a young age, Alaina Touma '26 often entered art shows during elementary and middle school. That passion continued into high school and during college at Bowling Green State University, the largest state art school in Ohio. She recently achieved a significant milestone in her career as an artist: one of her paintings was selected for display in the nationally recognized Albrecht-Kemper Museum in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Bowling Green State University senior Madison LaBeck is getting a full look at her future career this summer as she interns with the Department of Community Supervision in Augusta, Georgia. Every day, she is experiencing something new: observing drug court, meeting with offenders in their homes, conducting drug screens or shadowing officers, counselors and staff – experiences she feels prepared for thanks to her time at Bowling Green.
