What was your first job as a journalist?

I worked as a journalist for my college's newspaper.

Yes, produced and edited it

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

The very first in-person interview I ever did with Burnie Burns of Rooster Teeth turned into a great, informative piece for VideoInk

What's the best pitch you ever got?

Any pitch which made it very clear in the headline why it was worth my time (and included a clear, solid release + media assets)

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

The worst pitch I ever got was some email along the lines of "new film"; the body was poorly written, w/ bad grammar, and no media assets!

What's your favorite drink?

A good craft beer

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

That it's not a "real" beat - digital media, maybe, but online video/YouTube only? Is that for real?
