Co-Design of a Novel Telehealth Exercise Model of Care for Adults With Cystic Fibrosis
To the Editor, Exercise and physical activity are essential components for the management of individuals with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and recommended in clinical practice guidelines [1]. With the increasing use of telehealth for health care delivery [2], there is further need for telehealth models of care that include physiotherapy and exercise training to help overcome historical challenges of infection control with face-to-face and group activities [3].
Optimal Treatment for Dysfunctional Breathing in Adults: An International Delphi Study
1 Introduction Dysfunctional breathing (DB) represents chronic changes in breathing patterns resulting in dyspnoea, chest tightness, and other non-respiratory symptoms including dizziness, tremor and paraesthesia. These symptoms occur in the absence of respiratory disease or are disproportionate to the patient's established chronic lung disease [1]. There are a range of terminologies for DB in the literature including hyperventilation syndrome and breathing pattern disorder.
