Considered the first female rapper, Sha-Rock got her start in the late 70s as part of The Funky 4 + 1, a hip-hop group based in the South Bronx of New York City.

UNC Health files CON for 150-bed facility

UNC Health’s 150-bed community hospital is planned for a 62-acre site at S. 17th Street and Shipyard Boulevard, pending state approval.
