Shortly after adopting a report containing its annual pay for 2025, Penticton City Council debated a motion over the Community Charter and what to do with suspended councillors. Council voted to accept the annual statement of financial information (SOFI), which all municipalities are required to publish each year. The SOFI contains the list of employees who make more than $75,000 a year, the city’s purchases over $25,000, and the remuneration and expenses for city councillors.
