YouTube Music joins Spotify with mood-based AI playlists

Summary YouTube Music now creates playlists from text or voice prompts via Library > New > AI Playlist on iOS/Android. Available to YouTube Music and Premium subscribers (plans start at $10.99/mo). Spotify offers similar AI playlists, plus a Promoted Playlist option for more control. Playlists are the perfect way to create a mix of music spanning genres, artists, and even decades of music. The only problem is that creating one usually takes some time.
