The US economy added 235,000 jobs in February lowering the unemployment rate to 4.7%, slightly down from 4.8% in January. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports the "employment gains occurred in construction, private educational services, manufacturing, health care, and mining."
Dwight Eisenhower never worked in the business sector. But his leadership principles, cultivated in war and then expressed in the Oval Office, provide a road map for every manager, entrepreneur, and chief executive today. Often we hear of presidents looking to business leaders for wisdom-Eisenhower did that himself.
