Just like that, the White Sox may have taken their position in the catbird seat of the draft (top pick overall, dealing for an extra sandwich pick after the first round) and put an outrageous amount of distance between themselves and the runner-up, striking again with a massive talent nab in the 12th round, nabbing No. 226 MLB prospect Braden Holcomb of Vanderbilt with the No. 345 pick in the 2026 MLB draft.
