Have you ever used a typewriter?
No, but I would love to own one for the aesthetic. Perhaps the LEGO one!
How is social media changing news?
Social media means people are less likely to question what they see, and take it at face value, which allows easy manipulation of headlines.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Ford Prefect, from Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I'm pretty simple -- Notion, Pages/Word, is all I really need. I find that more complicated tools tend to distract me from my flow.

I became a journalist because I'm passionately opinionated and want to share my opinions with a wide audience.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My review for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, because it's my favorite game series; also my article criticizing Crunchyroll's regional licensing.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Start publishing content on your own blog, and reach out to places—it only takes one place to accept you for your career to get started.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Whenever! I'll try to get back to you within 24-hours depending on our timezone conflicts.
What's your favorite drink?
I'm extremely partial to a soy chai latte from Starbucks, with gingerbread syrup for a Christmassy twist!
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I'll be in the next room playing Soulslikes or RPGs on my PS5, or curled up with the latest manga issue or light novel!
