On the second night of the NBA Draft, the Oklahoma City Thunder added a former OU standout in the second round. The Thunder got guard Otega Oweh with the 41st overall pick. OKC made a deal to make it happen, trading their 37th overall pick to the Miami Heat to get the 41st pick and cash. Oweh spent his first two college seasons at Oklahoma before transferring to Kentucky for his final two seasons.

Thunder Add Pair of Big Ten Standouts in NBA Draft

The Oklahoma City Thunder picked up a pair of players who were stars in the Big Ten Conference last year in the first round of the NBA Draft on Tuesday night. With the #12 overall pick, OKC selected Michigan center Aday Mara. Mara is 7-3 and was the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year last season, helping the Wolverines to the national championship. He played just one season for Michigan after spending his first two college seasons at UCLA. He’s originally from Spain.

OMAHA, Neb. (KFOR) — OU baseball completed its improbable run Monday night by beating No. 5 North Carolina 13-2 to win the Men’s College World Series. The Sooners quickly took control of the game by scoring twice in the second inning before adding on another run in the third. North Carolina scored in the third to make it 3-1, but then OU opened things wide open. The Sooners scored three runs in the fourth, and then Dayton Tockey hit a solo homerun in the fifth to make it 7-1 OU.
