Yes, and it feels cool to "white-out" a mistake over and over and over again lmao
How is social media changing news?
Accountability and transparency is at its all-time high, and journalism is at the forefront of it.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Mostly Google and Microsoft tools. Occasionally, I use Hunter.io and LinkedIn to search for content.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter or TikTok.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
When the COVID pandemic struck New York, it was new to everyone. So, I interviewed a floor trader from the NYSE. It was 2008 all over again.
When's the best time to pitch you?
11-11:30 am and 4pm PST.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Get a letter in the mail that smelled like skunk. Was afraid to open it, but my curiosity was peaked. It was a pitch for a Cannabis brand.
What's your favorite drink?
Non-Alc: Arnold Palmer. Alc: White Claw.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Managing a team of marketing professionals in Anaheim OR trying new cooking recipes from Momofuku.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That people in Finance are not working hard for the average Joe, when in reality we're trying our best while Uncle Sam is watching us.
