In a small office in New York City, a hedge fund manager stares at a wide computer screen, yelling orders over a phone as he does so. $140.82 He keeps seeing the dollar value rise with every blink he takes. $141.91 He abruptly ends the call he had with the gentleman on the phone, exhausted from hearing his monotone voice. $143.09 The frustration he's been holding is causing his forehead to burn and his clothes to dampen with discomfort.
