10 Tips For Building A Magnetic Real Estate Team Culture
Culture is the stuff good businesses are made of. It's the character and personality of a company, including what makes the organization unique and its values, beliefs, traditions and attitudes. What’s the secret to creating a strong team culture? Here are my top 10 tips.
Where Real Estate Marketing Is Headed In 2018
Real estate marketing was brought to new heights last year, and I was so impressed with the creativity happening out there! With home inventory still very low in many markets, the battle over available listings was fierce, and I don't see that changing in 2018. As real estate professionals, we must continue bring our "A-game" to the table if we want to win those listings. That being said, below are 10 trends in real estate marketing I see coming this year: 1.
6 Buzzworthy Marketing Trends You Can Use
We saw some of the most creative real estate marketing from agents across the country last year. Low interest rates, coupled with deprived inventory in many markets, created an ultracompetitive marketplace in which agents were bringing nothing short of their A game to the table. I predict none of that will change this year—except for maybe the methods. Here are six of my predictions for what we will see in real estate marketing in 2018.

The Truth About Millennial Homebuyers
The millennial penchant for artisanal cuisine, coupled with their apparent reluctance to invest, has been the source of much debate in recent months. Who knew craft beer and cold brew coffee could spark so much controversy? While older generations worry about the economic impact of perceived generational changes in spending habits, millennials are quick to point to student loan debt and an increased cost of living as the culprit of their alleged financial woes.
5 Keys To A Great Brokerage Culture And Happy Agents
What would you consider most critical to helping your real estate agency grow? Chances are, you’re focused on commission splits, agent training, marketing and advertising, leads and inventory — all of which affect your ability to recruit and keep good real estate agents. But one thing brokers often forget to invest in is the culture within the brokerage and how it affects agent retention, recruiting and productivity.
How To Get Agents To Try (And Love) New Technology

Deedcoin Wants to Disrupt Commissions With Digital Currency Tokens
A Melbourne, Fla.-based startup called Deedcoin wants to create a system that will slash agent commissions to 1 percent and dramatically reduce brokerage overhead–and it’s planning on using virtual currency tokens to do that. The company, an offshoot of the local investment brokerage Momentum Realty, aims to sell 70 million “deedcoin” tokens on its website for $1.50 to $3.00 each, through an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) scheduled to take place on January 25 (after several delays).
10 real estate predictions all agents should care about
With this year coming to a close, there were many moments of major advancements in technology through out the year that are finding their way into our real estate world. Below, you'll find my predictions on what else we may be seeing in 2018! 1. The largest home purchase deals will be done in crypto currency.
When A Buyer’s Inspection Turns Into A Block Party
What’s the most heartwarming moment I’ve ever experienced in real estate? It was a summer evening in July, as I got the call around 7 p.m. from the buyer’s agent that the inspection on my listing was complete and went very well, but they were still at the home. He must have heard the hesitation in my voice, “You’re still there?

7 Text Messages That Will Revive Those Dying Real Estate Leads
It’s no secret that keeping real estate leads alive largely comes down to engaging with consumers in a way that keeps your listing — and unparalleled service — top-of-mind. For many of us, that means constantly sending a large number of emails. Well-intentioned though this digital persistence may be, the impact of an inbox barrage can be questionable; according to a recent Dynmark marketing report, the standard email open rate hovers around an unremarkable 20 percent to 30 percent.
