Greylingstad residents under the Dipaleseng Municipality in Mpumalanga, South Africa have intensified their long-standing complaints through a municipality sanctioned picketing against the operations of BJK Industries, a meat rendering plant owned by Leo Group UK. The community accuses the company of environmental negligence, citing foul odours, air pollution, and improper waste management practices that they say have disrupted daily life and endangered public health.

Ltd, a South African based innovative waste management enterprise has been honoured in the United States of America for its Sustainable E-Waste Management by the esteemed NRI Welfare Society of India — USA Chapter. This recognition was conferred at the NRI Welfare’s “Celebrating India–U.S. Ties” Summit held on the 23rd of July 2025 at The Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
