Lubbock woman indicted for arson after July fire

LUBBOCK, Texas — A Lubbock County grand jury on Tuesday indicted a woman whose accused of starting a fire in Lubbock in late July. Mindy Villarreal, 33, was indicted on a charge of Arson. According to Lubbock Fire and Rescue, Villarreal, 33, was arrested in late July in relation to a fence fire in the 1300 block of 59th Street on July 30. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire without it spreading to nearby structures.
