Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes, I learned how to type on typewriters in high school and actually owned a Smith-Corona!

It’s destroying the news as most legacy papers have become opinion rags

What does it mean to be a journalist?
You are investigating and hunting for the truth in order to empower your readers with actionable intelligence on the topics you cover.

In person or via video call
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Adobe Premier Pro, Microsoft Publisher, Google Alerts
What's your favorite social network?
I hate social networks but I need to use them to get get the story out. My favorite is Instagram as it’s a visual break from terrible Twitter
Who do you wish followed you?
My wife...but Twitter banned her for asking journalistic questions based on peer reviewed studies about the illicit activities of scientists.
Why did you become a journalist?
Because the cases and evidence I discover every day need to be shared with the public. Mainstream media has failed the people
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No, but I was in it a lot for good and bad reasons!
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
“Every Man a Spy: The Secret World of Private Intelligence” (In progress)
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Don't let a theory lead you to facts. Let the facts lead you to a theory.

Rugged Entertainment when they wanted me to star in a reality series about Private Detectives

Pimm’s Cup or a Larceny Bourbon, rocks
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Driving everywhere, shooting photography, following bad actors. Most importantly, spending time with family.
