Each August, the Texas Education Agency releases accountability data for public school districts and campuses. The accountability rating system was established during the 2017 legislative session. According to the TEA, ratings are based on measures of student achievement, including State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness, or STAAR tests; graduation rates; and college, career and military readiness outcomes.

Each year around August, Texas school districts adopt budgets for the upcoming fiscal year. Read about the budgets recently adopted by Eanes and Lake Travis ISDs.
