My first job as a journalist straight out of college was as a digital content producer at THV11 in Little Rock, AR.

Why did you become a journalist?
I got into journalism because I wanted to tell stories that matter and I didn't want to be at a job stuck at a desk all day.

When's the best time to pitch you?
9am-5pm (CT) Monday through Friday. My fastest replies will be in the first couple hours or last couple hours of my work day.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
Riding along with a Red Bull aerobatic stunt pilot!! I love anything adrenaline pumping, so that was a blast.
What's your favorite drink?
Dr. Pepper - it's always stocked at my house.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I'm most likely to be exploring Dallas - finding new restaurants or new activities to try!
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That it's easy or doesn't require skill. This beat really lets you get creative and test your limits!
