NEW YORK — A steep drop yanked oil prices back to levels seen in the early days of the Iran war, and U.S. stocks raced toward another record Friday after Iran said the Strait of Hormuz is open again to commercial tankers carrying crude from the Persian Gulf to customers worldwide. The S&P 500 leaped 1.1% as Wall Street rallied toward the finish of a third straight week of big gains, its longest streak since Halloween.

SEATTLE — A packed house, roaring crowd, and fighters stepping into the ring marked a historic moment for boxing in Washington. For the first time in its 108-year history, a regional Golden Gloves tournament was held in the state and it happened inside a gym that didn’t exist just a few years ago. “At first it seemed almost impossible, but then everything just started to come together,” said Manny Dunham, the founder of Nomad Boxing. The moment was years in the making.

Malik, who was a former member of One Direction, said that he was still "unexpectedly recovering" following a long week. Along with the health update, he shared a photo of himself in the hospital. "To my fans - Thank you to all of you for your love & support now and always," he said on Instagram Friday.
