It means reporting news accurately, being open about our own biases, follow basic ethics, and know the limits of our expertise.

Why did you become a journalist?
I didn't. I just fell into it when I was Editor-in-Chief of my college newspaper. Someone took a chance on me and there I was, a journalist.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
There was no newspaper in my high school and I went to a private school that was very hostile to the idea of one.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I covered the Q&A of Charles Martinet, the voice actor of Mario, at FANEXPO, and my coverage was used as a source in several large outlets.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Read the news everyday, you never know what you might find.

In the evening.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
An exclusive on the CEO of a Vtuber agency resigning. I got to interview a Vtuber and be the first to break the story too.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Someone contacted me on Reddit to cover a mobile game, but it was a very unappealing mobile game, so I had to politely decline.
What's your favorite drink?
Mango juice.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Doing my readings at the library or in class. Occasionally sleeping.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
Arts and entertainment means video games and anime in my case, but they're new and niche, so people think I cover Hollywood films.
