Bryan Gilmer is director of communications for the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. A professional communicator for more than 20 years, Gilmer earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and began his career as a newspaper reporter, including at Florida’s largest newspaper, The Tampa Bay Times.
