Bryce is currently the Director of External Affairs at the Yankee Institute for Public Policy in Hartford, CT. In this role, Bryce leads the Yankee Institute's interactions with policymakers and media outlets to help realize the organization's goal of ensuring a prosperous future for all of Connecticut's residents. The Yankee Institute is Connecticut's premier organization for sound free-market, limited government solutions to today's problems. And we're just getting started.
Bryce was previously the Communications and Outreach Manager for the George Washington University Regulatory Studies Center where he interacted with scholarly research and real-world policy makers, lead the Center's social media and email marketing campaigns, coordinated event logistics, published the weekly Regulation Digest newsletter, and managed an ever evolving team of student assistants.
Prior to his time at GW, Bryce worked in several positions for the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. Bryce was excelling as a Senior State Outreach Associate, leading organizational initiatives at the state and local level across the country, when he decided to depart Mercatus in April 2018. He worked directly with bipartisan state and local officials to work on policy reforms related to the center's academic research.
Bryce earned his Masters of Public Policy Degree with an emphasis in US Governance from George Mason University in December 2016. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (magna cum laude) from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in December 2012.
Previously, he has worked in a multitude of industries; from the factory floor, to in-home therapy for children with autism, in the office of an insurance agency, and in hard-hat required construction.
