SIMONS ISLAND, Ga.— The Tennessee Tech men's golf team wrapped up play Saturday at the 2026 Peoples Championship with a final-round 286 (+2), finishing eighth overall in the 21-team field. The Golden Eagles posted rounds of 288-280-286 to finish the 54-hole tournament at 854 (+2). Haden Maxwell led Tennessee Tech with a tie for fourth place at 206 (-6).

By Jeff Bowe, TTU Athletics Media Relations St. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga.— Tennessee Tech men's golf team opened the Peoples Championship with a first-round score of 288 (+4) on Monday, placing the Golden Eagles tied for 14th after the opening 18 holes of the event. Tennessee Tech was led by Haden Maxwell, who fired a 1-under-par 70 to pace the Golden Eagles. Maxwell's round placed him in a tie for 20th overall on the individual leaderboard after the first round.
