I’m excited to announce the second in the Freethinker’s series of free online seminars for all those interested in freethought history and its enduring relevance. The webinars, hosted by me, will feature expert guest speakers and you’ll have a chance to ask them your questions. They will also be recorded and uploaded to our YouTube channel. Editor’s Introduction On 10 February 2025, I spoke to the Dundee Humanist Group about some of the history and themes of the Freethinker. Especially for the event, I looked through our historical archive for Dundee-related material, and I found some interesting things. Thus the talk included a ‘Dundonian Addendum’.

On 10 February at 7 pm, I’ll be giving a talk to the Dundee Humanist Group about the Freethinker and its place in the global secularist movement.
