Jason Ng’s Biography

I’ve been on both sides of the communications coin.

Currently Associate Editor for The Edge Malaysia. Formerly at NewsRise Financial Research, Nikkei Markets, Wall Street Journal, and The Malaysian Reserve.

A member of the Wall Street Journal reporting team led by Pulitzer Prize finalists for coverage of Malaysia's 1MDB scandal. Also part of the 2014 Sigma Delta Chi Award winning team for Deadline Reporting (Affiliated) for coverage of the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.

I’ve been covering and writing about financial markets, corporate and economic news, as well as government policy for more than a decade in Malaysia, Singapore, Southeast Asia and Hong Kong.

I’ve also trained media spokesperson, managed events, moderated forums and organised private engagement sessions with government officials and corporate executives.
