1 Introduction Manufacturing industries requiring improved materials have led to the development of composite materials, including fiber-reinforced polymers (FRP). FRP composites are indispensable in aerospace, automotive, marine, and defense applications due to their superior specific strength, corrosion resistance, and design flexibility. Among FRPs, glass and basalt fiber-reinforced laminates are gaining prominence as cost-effective yet high-performance alternatives to carbon fiber composites.

1 Introduction EMI or electromagnetic interference is the effect of electromagnetic waves (EMWs) on external objects, where the waves are not restored to their initial position when they are propagated. EMWs have the same direction and propagation of their magnetic and electric fields thereby making it more accessible to transfer the energy in areas of magnetic and electric fields and can propagate through any medium such as solid, liquid, gas or even a vacuum.
