What was your first job as a journalist?

Harrison News-Herald as a part-time sports reporter during my senior year at Jewett-Scio High School.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes. In high school typing class. LOL

What does it mean to be a journalist?

I get to write for a living and I enjoy it!

Why did you become a journalist?

I love to write.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

Sara Weaver forgiving the federal agents who shot and killed her mother and brother at Ruby Ridge.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Be ready for low pay and be ready to travel.
