Features of registered clinical trials and associated papers on physical activity involving people with spinal cord injury - Spinal Cord
Abstract Clinical recommendations are typically developed based on published data. However, if not all data are published this may influence the accuracy and effectiveness of recommendations. We examined whether failure to publish clinical trial data is a problem in physical activity (PA) research involving people with spinal cord injury (SCI). This article reports features of 102 PA trials registered on ClinicalTrials.gov including participants with SCI, of which 63% had associated papers.

More than 4,000 athletes from around the world will compete at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, a tenfold increase since the first Paralympics in 1960. Despite the growth in Paralympic athletes, for most of the world’s 1.5 billion people with a disability, participation in sports, exercise and other types of physical activity is still nearly impossible.

Eric "Mean" Melin wins U.S. Air Guitar's New York semifinal
Also repping KC in NYC were Thunderball (Nielsen Nacis) and Air Jesus (JoJo Longbottom). Doesn't sound like either made the second round, but we did hear (via U.S. Air Guitar's Twitter) that Thunderball was "adorable" as usual and Air Jesus once again "died for our, well, air."Several KC air guitarists - the CorpAIRation, Sonic Bitch, Pork Sword and Crystal Richter - will compete for a spot in nationals later this month in the Washington, D.C., and Chicago semifinals.
U.S Air Guitar qualifier at RecordBar tonight
Two new air-guitar champions will be crowned tonight at the RecordBar. I'll be one of the three judges again this year, so come out and say hi or boo me or whatever works for you. This competition is a regional qualifier for the U.S. Air Guitar Championships, and the winners go on to the semifinals. Previous champ Eric "Mean" Melin will host the show, and he's promising lots of ridiculousness. How could it not be, with local weirdo Peter "Stiff" Dickens in attendance?
