What was your first job as a journalist?
Editor of the Fremont Universe, a hyper-local blog about one of Seattle's eclectic neighborhoods.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
No, and it would probably be a disaster if I tried.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Via email and only related to Tech Moves.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Wordpress. Adobe. Canva. Google Docs and Sheets. LinkedIn. Court case lookup. Slack. Lots and lots of email.

Why did you become a journalist?
Because I was down the hall for the newsroom.

Yes, I was a staff reporter and then editor-in-chief.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Don't go into PR.
When's the best time to pitch you?
When you have news about notable hires, promotions and personnel changes in the Pacific NW tech community.

Something related to CES
