This Cranberry-Apple Casserole Could Easily Be Enjoyed As A Side Or A Dessert
There’s no shortage of delicious dishes around the table at Thanksgiving. While the turkey tends to get a ton of focus, in my eyes the sides are the true star of the show. Every year, no matter where I am or who I’m celebrating with, I always volunteer to make sure the mashed potatoes are perfect—and I bring a casserole that confuses everyone when it’s time to set out the food. Is it a side or is it a dessert? The good news is you can’t go wrong either way.

A Sportsman's Tale: How Dublin Up won the Big Boys fishing event out of the Oak
A Sportsman's Tale: How Dublin Up won the Big Boys fishing event out of the Oak Dublin Up won the Big Boys Tournament out of the Oak on Aug. 1. Team Dublin Up took home the victory at the first “Big Boy” tournament out of Oak Orchard in Orleans County on Aug. 1. We had been fishing about 12 miles west of port and working a small pocket of fish that we found. That spot had put out a great class of fish for us, but the water was changing, and the fish were slowly starting to thin out.
We need to unmask the inner turmoil of founders - so here’s my story
I am very firmly of the school of thought that entrepreneurship is a privilege. In 99% of instances, it means you’ve been dealt a decent set of cards in life. However, that privilege does come at a cost. The mental and emotional toll of building something of your own design is significant.
My work is no longer my identity – Carl Martin – Medium
Part 2 of 3 in a series about my life after a failed startup Please read Part One of this series first: My Battle with ‘Post Founder Depression’ “What do you want to be when you grow up?” We all remember this question as a kid. Was it a fireman? A nurse? A Power Ranger? Whatever it was, this question about our future was always seemingly loaded — geared towards not the life we build, but the career we pursue. For as long as I can remember, I have been defined by my work.
My battle with ‘Post Founder Depression’ – Carl Martin – Medium
Back in May this year, my journey as a founder effectively came to an end. I’d spent 2 years building Ping, until it finally ran out of cash and we couldn’t raise any further capital. And in parallel my own health deteriorated to the point I couldn’t effectively continue the work at hand. In the 6 months since then, I’ve taken the time to invest back in myself, try heal some of the physical, mental and emotional wounds of the endeavour, and get myself back to work.

What’s next? Time to wurq!
I’ve always known some day I’d build my own company. I knew it was going to be a part of my journey, but I was always just waiting for that one idea that I’d be prepared to drop everything to pursue. Well, after over 8 years of building, launching, marketing, and selling products, as well as working with product teams, I’m ready to build one of my own. So what on earth do I plan on building?

The Death of Support
This was originally an email I sent to the 'all' list at ustwo, I felt compelled to share the lessons for the the rest of the world to learn from. With more companies being built with empathy and culture at their heart, I believe there will be continued pressure on individuals to show that they care about the people they work with, and offering 'support' is an easy way to showcase they care, without really having to make a commitment.
"Volume Changes and Viscosities in the Cyclohexane-Isopropyl Alcohol Sy" by Carl Martin Anderson
Abstract This study focuses on the changes in volume and viscosities occurring during the process of mixing in the system. Binary and ternary systems involving methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, benzene, toluene, cyclohexane, cyclohexene, and water are being studied. It is hoped that by studying a number of related systems, a better knowledge of the mechanisms involved in the changes that occur, may be obtained. Advisor: E. Roger Washburn
