I love the arts and have too many opinions about them

I did not start writing until I was at university, when I saw the film Rush and loved it so much that I immediately pitched the student paper
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm most proud of my deep dive on the film/book/opera Death in Venice and my analysis of Leonard Bernstein's music in the movies
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Write all the time, and perfect your pitching skills!
When's the best time to pitch you?
Literally anytime, especially with US/UK time zone differences! Just expect a response at a similarly unsociable time

A lady never tells
What's your favorite drink?
Tea, any kind, lots of it
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Reading a book or watching yet more film/TV
